FUT Technique
Follicular Unit Transplantation, also known as the ‘strip’ procedure, works by harvesting a linear strip bearing thousands of hair follicles in a single session. The strip is then dissected to separate the follicles. The area is closed in layers ensuring minimally visible scar.
FUE Technique
In the Follicular Unit Extraction, follicles are collected using fine punches without removing the scalp tissue. Tiny slits or holes are created in the target area after it is cleaned, draped and numbed. Each graft is then delicately placed in these gaps. The transplanted follicles are boosted with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to ensure a 100% satisfactory outcome. FUE is an advanced technique with minimal scarring and zero-suturing.
